Tennis elbow (epicondylitis) is a disease of the tendons around the elbow. It manifests
itself by a severe pain on the outside of the elbow.
Cause
Like the jumper´s knee, it is caused by overloading the tendon. However, it is not only mainly sportsmen and women who are affected, such as tennis players, golfers, rowers or volleyball players, but tennis elbow occurs just as frequently in people who constantly repeat the same movements in their jobs, such as craftsmen, musicians or people with office jobs.
